In an emotional NFL reunion, Odell Beckham Jr. rejoins the New York Giants.

Odell Beckham Jr.'s formal return to the New York Giants is a significant reunion between the star wide receiver and the team that launched his NFL career. Beckham worked out with the Giants earlier this offseason, and the team announced the signing on Monday.

As the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Beckham joined the Giants and immediately rose to prominence as one of the most dynamic players in the league. With 390 receptions, 5,476 receiving yards, and 44 touchdowns in his first five seasons in New York, he became one of the team's most iconic players.

The 33-year-old wide out rejoins the Giants, who are currently suffering with wide receiver issues. In an effort to bolster depth ahead of the upcoming NFL season, the team reportedly recruited additional receivers.

Beckham has played for a number of NFL clubs after departing New York in 2019, including the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns, and Baltimore Ravens. Among his many notable accomplishments throughout his career was assisting the Rams in winning Super Bowl LVI.

Giants supporters, many of whom recall Beckham's outstanding performances and memorable events during his first tenure with the team, are excited about the reunion. He is also reunited with head coach John Harbaugh, who coached him while he was in Baltimore.

Fans will be excited to see if Beckham can continue to have an impact in New York and start a new chapter in one of the league's most famous player-team partnerships as the upcoming NFL season draws near.
