Amid growing tensions in the region, the speaker of the Iranian parliament declares that the country will "never surrender."

In the face of escalating regional tensions, Iran's Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Ghalibaf, has reiterated Tehran's stance, declaring that Iran will not give up and will keep defending its national interests and sovereignty.

Speaking on Iran's position, Ghalibaf stressed that the nation is still dedicated to defending its independence and taking action against threats to its national security.

“Iran will never surrender,” Ghalibaf said, according to reports.

The statement is made at a time when tensions in the Middle East are at an all-time high, with ongoing conflicts between Iran and a number of foreign players raising questions about the stability of the region.

While opposing governments have urged for diplomatic solutions to stop further escalation, Iranian authorities have consistently asserted that the nation has the right to defend itself and pursue its strategic objectives.

The Speaker of the Parliament's remarks are consistent with the larger stance of Iranian leadership, which has insisted that outside pressure won't alter Tehran's policies.

As diplomatic efforts and security concerns continue to be at the heart of conversations around the region, international observers continue to keep a careful eye on developments.

Analysts think the following days will be critical in determining whether tensions lessen through conversations or continue to increase.
