The campaign of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is said to last three to four hours, and gamers are debating how long it is in comparison to other campaigns.

For those who pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, early access to the single-player version of the game is currently available. As a result, social media is rife with spoilers and discussions on how long the campaign seems to be.

One gamer on Reddit wrote, "It took me 4 hours and I was trying to stealth all the open combat missions and looking for extra equipment." "If I had gone straight for the objectives, I could have probably saved an hour."

Another said that they performed a speed-run on "hardened difficulty" and took "just over 2 hours" after their roommate finished the campaign in four hours.

One Call of Duty enthusiast argued, "As long as I can play them through [Game Pass] or for a low enough buy in, I think micro-campaigns sound great." "However, don't force me to download 200GB of multiplayer content only to enjoy a four-hour campaign.

It is estimated that the game is 200GB in size. Activision clarified that the game will be "smaller than the combined previous Call of Duty experiences" and won't be as big as that thanks to "ongoing optimisation efforts."
